The idea that Harley knows perfectly well that she can trust him with her life is miraculous on its own. Even though she is aware that he could kill her whenever he likes and doubtless will someday, she's completely at ease with his hands around her throat.

It is highly interesting that intimacy has not ultimately to do with pure sex but with other sensual things like the asphyxiation thing. When I say "sensual" you know what I mean, I guess.
I'm impressed by this fic because I think it depicts exactly (!)the relationship between the Joker and Harley.
A lot of fanfictions concentrate on subjects like sex but don't include the factor of trust and devotion.
