As for the rest, I like it but I'm not sure it's totally "on". I think it's a great little snapshot of the uncertainty of their relationship, how she's never sure she'll do the right thing (or, at least, most of the time) but the ending doesn't quite come through for me. I like it, but it seems sort of rushed. Still, it's pretty sexy.

Just to comment on your end notes - doubt Joker would ever rape Harley. It would totally undermine the far more sophisticated psychological hold he has over her to force her have sex with him.

I really like this story a whole lot and have done so for a long time. It's pervy and twisted and sick and has great characterisation plus a drunk Joker. Also, lol-worthy n00bs reviews. What's not to like?

Author's Response: Oh yeah! Drunk Joker is SO silent-picture slapstick! I can still vividly see in my head exactly what he's doing, each gesture, and it is LOLs!

Apart from the need for a beta (to smooth out that aforementiond jerkiness in your narrative) this one is my favourite of yours. I remember laughing out loud the first time I read it. It's really perfectly in character and such a nice diversion from the usual scenario with these types of stories. Yay!

I really like this one. It's so subtle and says so much in a very gentle way. It feels very authentic in how Harley probably would feel some frustration - and I love that Joker vaguely notices. Noice!

I'm really enjoying this so far. Your characterisation of Batman, and his attitude to Joker, is spot-on. You're painting the other characters very vividly, so that they feel real and authentic, a must-have since they'll be playing key parts. The premise is exciting and interesting and, in all, I can't wait to see what you bring to the table!

I'm not sure if you've got some Frank Miller homage going on, but all the 'whore' stuff is tacky and could be rubbed out. Not really the way Joker thinks.

Other than that, I thought this was really good. Interesting, well-written, nasty and psychological. An interesting perspective, but to be honest it doesn't seem like a different take, as it's a common theme in this fandom. Still, I liked it a whole lot, I thought it was well expressed and depicted and I would be interested in reading more from you.

I really enjoyed this. You have a lovely writing style with a great sense of structure, spelling and grammar. I also liked how subtly you explored the relationship in this, Harley's need, the actual dynamics of it mingled with her delusions and its cyclical nature.

Actually, this one's pretty good. I really like the way you've delved into Harley's past attachment to gymnastics, it feels very authentic and well rounded out. It's nice to think about what Harley might feel about her past in this way. I thought she might end up getting hurt and unable to go, but the ending really ties it all together nicely - there's a bit of fluff that's not overdone, it's subtle, and it reasserts to her what the real only thing that matters is. Good job!

I feel like I shouldn't laugh at this one, yet I can't help it. It's totally silly, utterly playful and somehow works, maybe because of those reasons, because it's good to remember Joker and Harley are clowns and they should make us laugh on a regular basis even if what they do is pretty awful.

I have this total phobia around the 'f' word used as your title, I honestly can't bear to say it or even read it which is what makes this story a bit hard for me, because every time I read it I wince. Yeah I can't even type it out! It's a weird phobia, I know, but I think that's why I have a mixed reaction to this story.

Really, it's very funny.

mmmmm this one struck a chord with me. I think you really captured her neediness, her loneliness and her anxiety very well and created an atmosphere for the reader to be involved in those emotions. It was clean and to the point and also resonant. I also like the way it has an uncertain ending, no resolution. It strengthens that feeling of isolation.

Hrmmm. This story felt very rushed and as though you didn't really think it through. To be honest, I got the overwhelming feeling that you were writing what you thought people wanted to read without giving a lot of thought to characterisation, suspense and intrigue. When someone commented it seemed out of character, you immediately changed direction - something tells me you didn't plan for the story to go the way it did. Maybe I'm wrong, but if I am then I have to say this story did not ring true for me.
I felt your characterisation had glimmers of Joker and Harley there but was largely off the mark. Joker in particular was not his charming, intriguing self.

I don't want to discourage you as I think you have potential and you should definitely keep writing and practicing. I just feel you really need to think about what you're writing and take more care with it as well as go for more than just shock value.

For example, having Joker swear a lot just makes him sound childish. Joker is a man who is careful with the way he speaks; it's part of his performance. Making him swear every second word is lazy.

I think you have the right idea of who the characters are and you know who they are inside - I just feel you need more practice in depicting that. Don't rush, and look for a beta reader to help out.
